Creative Techn= ique Option 1: Mini Movie

Develop a time management related scenario in an educati= onal environment. Provide examples= of both positive and negative strategies, and how either can influence a colle= ge experience. Video should be b= etween 10-12 minutes in length and all members in group must have a specific role = in the movie. =

Creative Techn= ique Option 2: Live Skit

Assume the US is not maintaining a competitive edge against other nations, both education= ally and economically. You and your team members are part of a “think tank”, and must come up with a long-term goal that offers a solution = to this growing dilemma. If choo= sing this option, your group must clearly define the problem, develop a long term solution, and provide a clear direction to implement the solution. Be creative and engage all members= of your team. All members of the group must have a speaking role and skit shou= ld be 10-12 minutes in length. <= /o:p>

Creative Techn= ique Option 3: Animated Power Point

A student has been caught cheating in the test taking ce= nter by hacking the system and out smarting the seemingly “cheat proofR= 21; TSI Exam. Present a discipline method for such student to the College Board. Use the cheating incident as a bac= k drop to lobby for additional funds to support a MANDATORY test taking skills sem= inar for all college freshman. Be = creative and engage all members of your team. Each group member should have a speaking role. Presentation should be 10-12 minut= es, formal in nature and provide a persuasive argument.

Collin College has a disproportionate number of students taking College Success. This is a clear indi= cator that students are not performing at the academic level expected by board regents. Develop a storyline = aimed at a national audience, documenting current academic challenges and trends, which may or may not be exclusive to Collin College. Address what Collin is doing local= ly to combat this academic problem. Be creative and engage all members of your group. All members of the group must have a speaking role and broadcast should be 10-12 minutes in length. =

Creative Techn= ique Option 5: Marketing Campaign

Your group is supporting the Secretary of Education who = is attempting to market a MA= NDATORY College Success cou= rse for incoming freshman attending any public institution. Develop a marketing strategy targe= ting the general public. Include a= marketing add, theme song, campaign slogan and/or persuasive speech. Be creative and engage all members= of your group. All members of the group must have a speaking role and presenta= tion should be 10-12 minutes in length.
