Research Interests

My research interests include life history strategies and population dynamics of rare and unusual fern species.  My current focus is on demographics, phenology, and responses to environmental parameters such as precipitation and temperature.  I am also working with other faculty to develop new projects that use molecular techniques to examine genetic variations within and between populations of the species being monitored in my current population studies.
