Photomerge and Panoramas:

You are to create a panorama by combining three or more images using Photoshop’s Photomerge utility.  You will need to use a tripod when capturing the images you wish to combine, making certain that your camera is level when panning. Use manual focus and exposure, and do not use auto white balance.

Photomontage:

Unlike the first three images you are making, this one will combine multiple images in a single frame.  You may place people or objects in new locations, layer images of varying opacities like Robert Rauschenberg’s prints, create dreamscapes, or some personal expression. You have a lot of freedom in this assignment.  Again, begin with a concept, then plan the images you need to make to include in your montage.
